Scott Sager, your Alaska Kenai River Fishing Guide, has been guiding for the past 12 seasons. Through his experience he has learned a thing or two about what will make your trip a pleasant memory that keeps you wanting to come back for more.
Courteous, polite, patient, competent, hard working, knowledgeable and friendly are a few of the qualities you can expect from Scott and Drifting On The Fly. Our goal is to provide you with the experience you dream about when they hear the word "Alaska". If your stay lasts one day or one month, let me help you maximize your time. Through this opportunity as your guide I hope to develop a friendship that will continue as you return to Alaska to explore more opportunities. |

Fishing Guide trips are available from May to November. The species we chase will vary according to time of year. (Give us a call if you are targeting a specific species, before you book your flight.) We are fortunate to be blessed with an almost unlimited number of opportunities as far as fisheries are concerned.
Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Grayling, Steelhead, King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, Pink Salmon, Chum Salmon and Halibut are all available and represent our primary target species.
Sheefish and a few other less popular species are available and these trips are designed upon your individual requests, give me a call and let's talk about your trip.
Deposits, Payments and Refunds When you make the booking, your Drifting On The Fly agent will ask for a deposit of 50% per guide / per day of fishing. You can pay this deposit with your Visa or MasterCard. Once we have made your arrangements we will charge the card to secure your booking.
If you wish to pay the deposit with a check we must receive the check within two weeks from the day you make the booking. This option is only available for bookings at least eight weeks in advance. The booking is not confirmed until your check clears. In the event that we have not heard from you, or received any deposit, we'll make one more effort to contact you. If we have not received a deposit within two weeks from the date the booking was made we will automatically cancel all of your reservations. However, we do ask that you contact us immediately if you intend to have your booking cancelled.
Once the deposit has been made we will send you a detailed itinerary that will serve as your confirmation letter. Additional deposits may be required for overnight trips, fly outs, and Halibut trips. We'll detail this for you. Deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to your trip. Cancelled trips inside 30 days of your reservation date will result in you forfeiting your your entire deposit. Within 30 days of your trip, we will still refund in full if we can rebook the dates for the days you have canceled.
If you cancel your reservation for Halibut Trips, Overnight Trips or Fly Outs with less than 30 days notice you will be responsible for a 50% cancellation fee if the trip cannnot be rebooked.
Partial cancellations will be subject to cancellation fees based upon the previous formula (cancellation fees are collected on a per trip basis).
Please be certain of your reservation dates.
By doing so, we all have a positive experience. |
