Sockeye (Red) Salmon Guide Trips begin in late June and continue into August. This coincides with the early and late runs on the Kenai River. When these fish enter the river from the ocean, they are primed to fight. Swinging simple colorful flies close to the bank with enough weight to get your flies down is usually enough to elicit several fast action strikes. Typically our day will consist of floating from productive gravel bar to productive gravel bar. We will provide the tackle and instruction required to catch these fish.
