Guided Kasilof river King Salmon fishing has been good. Lots of take downs, a few fish coming unbuttoned and plenty of fish landed. Water levels are in very good shape and it’s looking to be a great year for King Salmon fishing on the Kasilof River. King salmon fishing is also picking up on the Kenai river too. I have mostly fished the Kasilof river this week but have a few trips are booked for on the Kenai river coming up soon.
Here is one of the fish we boated on yesterdays adventure with our guide service. These bright King Salmon are hard hitting and make screaming runs. Most of the fish caught in the last few weeks have had sea lice on them. This is a good sign of fresh fish in the river.
Remember King Salmon season ends at the end of July so it is not to late to get your spot on our boat.
